Yay for day four! So, it turns out my twelve days aren't so consecutive, more spread out over the month of December hahah it is fair to say this December is proving busier than I anticipated; but I am driven to bring you the final days of this series before Santa comes to visit!

For my fourth day, I bring you a little gift guide for the foodies in your life, but this post differs a little to other gift ideas for foodies. This guide is for the foodie who has everything, giving you ideas that are bound to put a smile on their face for Christmas.

1. My first gift suggestion is not a material one, but one to enjoy over a few hours with friends. Surprise your foodie with a night out at one of their favourite restaurants to enjoy a degaustation dinner full of new culinary experiences, and plenty of 'ooh's' & 'aaah's). Metro put together this list of amazing restaurants that serve degaustation menu's, ranging from 5, to 8, to 10 courses of beautiful food. There is no doubt in saying they will enjoy every minute!

2. This next gift is one that I would love to receive, and it gives the receivee so many options to choose from. Anthropologie is an amazing American based store, with a huge selection of kitchen and dining ware that completely differs from what I have found in little old New Zealand. Think elephant teapots, enamel bakeware and cat teatowels (I kid you not, I'll have five please).

3. My third suggestion would be perfect for a group of foodies, a work Christmas party or for a cook who is eager to learn. Sachie's Kitchen offers a range of Asian based cooking classes, from a Japanese Sushi masterclass to learning about the secrets of Umami. There are so many different classes to choose from; laughs and good food are inevitable.

4. This last gift will be your foodie's culinary holy grail. When I was studying culinary arts at university, our lecturers couldn't recommend this book enough, and it quickly became my go to for all questions and curiosities. Larousse Gastronomique is the ultimate culinary encyclopedia, and is a must on any cook's bookshelf.

Hopefully this little gift guide has given you some inspiration for what to buy for your favourite foodies. What would be your perfect gift? Rhi x
