My favourite things that will make your transition to healthier living 1000x easier! Healthier living is something we all strive for. Whether it be the ball is coming up and you want to feel amazing (you will look gorgeous, don’t doubt it for a second!), winter mindset has taken over and the couch has awkwardly become your best friend, or you generally want to improve what you put into your body; we all want to feel the brightest, most energized versions of ourselves we can be. There’s just one thing that stands in our way…our not so beloved friend (who lets be honest, can be super moody), ms cravings. Sweet, savoury, big or small, they are usually the one of the main things that stop us from consistently eating ‘clean’. |
So, to help you through those dark times (sitting in front of the tv watching a Ryan Gosling movie dying for some ice cream…), I have come up with five of my favourite products to satisfy your foodie desires, without completely throwing your efforts:
Pana Chocolate
I am not lying when I say, this is one of my favourite chocolates, raw or not. Made from raw, organic cacao, Pana combines their cacao with ingredients such as coconut nectar, agave and salt to create the smoothest, most finger licking raw chocolate you will try. It also comes in 10 flavours, so there is literally something for everyone!
Sweet Pea Hummus from The Kitchy Kitchen
I have made this recipe many times, and it is so delish with carrot sticks and some crackers! Instead of a chickpea base, this recipe uses green peas and beans, and with the addition of herbs, garlic and salt, this works wonders when you feel the need to walk to the fridge for a snack.
Ceres Almond and Peanut Butter
This amazing blend is a combination of almonds and peanuts, and apart from sea salt, they are the only ingredients! Unlike peanut butters you would buy from the supermarket, this is perfect spread on green apple, or even better-in a smoothie! YUM.
Nice Cream by Tommy and James
Nice Cream will be your saviour in summer. Dairy free and made with a base of coconut milk, it is made with organic ingredients and fresh produce that won’t leave you feeling bleh afterwards. It is still a treat, but without all the nasty colours and preservatives, it is a much better choice. My fave has to be the banana!
Chia Puddings
Anything that has puddings in the title is bound to be amazing right? They are even classed as a breakfast food so, they are a winner. They are amazing versatile, you can pretty much add anything to them! I came up with a recipe for a Peanut Butter and Jelly chia pudding, and trust me, you will want this for brekky EVERY day.
These little treats should make your life a whole lot easier, and you’ll realise how easy eating better can be! It is all about moderation, and your body will thank you for it
