For day 7 I share with you an easy option for summer get togethers and bbq's with friends! Sometimes starting from scratch can be a little too time consuming, especially around Christmas time. Alison's Pantry products are so easily accessible, a little trip down to the supermarket and you have endless options right in front of you! The bonus to platters? There is only assembly required. I have a friend who said "I like assembling food, but the cooking, not so much", and this dessert is the perfect option for those who don't enjoy cooking, but want to provide a delicious after dinner treat.
My picks of the Alison's Pantry range combine both naughty and nice. For the naughty, I went with the most delicious chai chocolate almonds which have a warming spice to them. Added to the naughty list is the mega mix; a mixture of yoghurt or chocolate covered raisins, nuts, cranberries and fudge pieces (YUM). Lastly I added the raspberry and cacao nougat, which is the perfect sweet addition.
Then on the nice list, we have some products which I promise were equally as good. I started with orchard fruits, which is a dried fruit mixture based on seasonality at the time of purchase. The next product is good by name and nature, body fuel. An energizing blend of seeds, buckwheat, sesame seeds, nuts and perfect little chunks of dark chocolate. Lastly, the energy booster mix is a generous combinations of fruits, seeds and nuts.
Serve these with some fresh berries and you are set for summer entertaining, without the stress. What products would you put on your platter? Rhi xx
